Now retired, I spent 47 years in the luggage industry and photography was an occasional hobby. I have also had an interest in technology and innovation. Until my retirement, being the owner and founder of Goplaces.co.uk,
one of the very first online stores in the UK and certainly the first on-line luggage store, I found the two interests coming together with the need for a large number of high-quality images in order to show off the products to their best advantage.
The business has now been sold to a highly regarded company and I am pleased to see they have continued to offer high quality luggage at affordable prices and also continue to innovate with the design and ease of use of the website. They also offer outstanding customer service which is reflected in the feedback. I have no hesitation in recommending them should you need a new piece of luggage or business case.
Since retirement I like to keep myself busy and have taken up photography on a more regular basis. I have a small ‘log cabin’ studio at home ( a legacy from my website photography days ) and use high end Nikon cameras and lens’s. Many of my images can be licenced on Alamy
and through this portal a good deal of my images has been licenced around the world, from local newspapers to television use.
